Anslet Strand Camping is a cosy, small campsite located 1 km south of Hejlsminde, between Haderslev and Kolding. Set at the end of a quiet dead-end road, the campsite enjoys beautiful views across the Little Belt and is surrounded by scenic natural surroundings, with water, beach, forest and open fields all around.
Here, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday with plenty of fresh air and open skies – perfect for swimming, hiking or simply unwinding.
It is a little paradise for nature lovers looking for peace and tranquillity. Our small and friendly campsite welcomes everyone, both young and old.
Some of our pitches are located right by the beach, where you can enjoy views of Hejlsminde, the Little Belt and Funen. The campsite offers good shelter from the wind and a child-friendly beach with a bathing jetty and slide. There is also a pier owned by Anslet Bådelaug, where you can rent your own berth for a boat, as well as a convenient slipway for launching.
There are plenty of opportunities for fishing, sea kayaking, paddleboarding and scenic walks along the beach and in the surrounding area. On the part of the campsite furthest from the beach, you will also find a playground with features including a jumping pillow and climbing tower.
We are open from Easter until 15 September.
The campsite is located in a deep erosion valley, surrounded by protected woodland, fields and a large protected moraine hill, from which there are fantastic views across the Little Belt.
This unique landscape was formed after the Ice Age, when large volumes of meltwater and rainwater flowed through the vegetation-free terrain, creating erosion valleys surrounded by what are known as “false hills”, also called moraine hills.
The facilities are older, but they are clean and fully functional.
Dogs are very welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times on the campsite.
Please note: Fish may only be cleaned in the designated area outside the kitchen entrance.

Christiansfeld is one of Denmark’s most distinctive towns. It was founded in 1773 as a settlement for the Moravian Church. This unique UNESCO town is known for its special architecture and town planning, shaped by symmetry, community and equality. The Moravian congregation, which still exists today, stands as a remarkable testimony to a unique cultural tradition and history. Christiansfeld is now a fine example of urban planning, with long straight streets and impressive architecture.
Also known as Church of Our Lady, Haderslev Cathedral is located at one of the highest points in the town. Built in the 13th century, it rises prominently above the rooftops and gives Haderslev its distinctive skyline. The cathedral is not a museum, but a living church still in active use today. At the same time, it holds a rich and eventful history, along with fine church art and furnishings. Queen Margrethe designed four altar frontals and four matching chasubles.
